In the first competitive Leeds League season post-Covid, Farsley’s six competing teams enjoyed a mostly successful 2022-23 campaign.
Both Mixed teams made it to their respective Cup Finals, with Mixed B returning home with the Fryer Hallam trophy after beating Leeds University. The Mixed As just missed out, losing a closely-fought contest against Roundhegians.
The Men’s B team also won silverware, after enjoying a rare unbeaten season during their League 4 title win, while Men’s A can be very proud of retaining their League 2 status.
A much-changed Men’s C team can be satisfied with a strong showing in League 4, with a lot ofpromise for the 2023-24 season.
Sadly the Ladies team couldn’t complete the season due to lack of players – an issue teams across Leeds are struggling with.
Both our Mixed teams also enjoyed competitive seasons in Leagues 2 and 3.
The teams are looking forward to more success in the new 2023-24 season.
