With both the Farsley Badminton Leeds Club Gents B & C teams in the same division, the Selection Committee took the decision to use the B team to promote new members and leave what was the old B team together as the C team.
It was felt that their stability from playing together the previous season would play an advantage as the badminton Leeds season went on but, unfortunately, this was not the case as they ended up using 10 players. The gents B team while having a recognised six players ended up using 8 regulars and 6 substitutes.
The first half of the badminton Leeds season went better than expected with the side winning 4 and drawing 1 from 7 matches losing only to Spartans D and Farsley C, the second half was almost the same winning 4 from 7, losing again to the eventual top two teams.
The League was eventually won by Spartans D, followed by Farsley C.
In the cup, the B team was beaten by an average of 5 points by a team from a higher division who, most annoyingly, conceded their next round match!
